Objective

The objective of this project was to create a brand identity and brochure for the Inaba City Zoo. The brochure needed to show what attractions and exhibits the Zoo has to offer to their guests, ultimately bringing in new customers to the Zoo.

Concept

For this design, I decided to research what Zoos in Japan have to offer, which led me to deciding to use the Panda in the logo for the Inaba City Zoo. As for the colours chosen for this design, in Japanese history, the colour blue is used to show benevolence, meaning kindness and goodwill, whereas the green is used to show that the Zoo embraces nature and the wild. Photographs were used heavily throughout the brochure to show guests what the Zoo has to offer in terms of their animal exhibits as well as other fun attractions.
